Camp Machado

One day, Alex, Tania, and I were venturing away from Harbor Park into Camp Machado. 

It was an intruiging experience, especially considering we had no idea what it was. We later learn of its origins in my vlog entitled Camp Machado. 

I know this may sound weird, but I was inspired. Having gained the knowledge of the history of this camp made my creative juices start to flow. In case you do not know, they camp was shut down because the teenage counselors were racist and made the young boys (ages 11-13) strip down so they may measure the size of their penises. Anyways, I was inspired by this and have decided to write a short film series based around Camp Machado. 

The short film series will follow Lora and Michelle: two best friends that happened to wander into Camp Machado. After a picture reveals they aren't alone, the camp no longer seems inviting. That is only the beginning of it all. They have no idea what tragic turn of events they have caused simply by walking into that camp. 

I am currently writing the script. I am done with part 2 of 6. There's is still a long way to go. 

Aside from writing the script, I need to work on music. I have figured out a very simple, yet creepy theme for the series as a whole. I may decide to use copyright-free music in attempts to save time and to make the film series better. I am refraining from using real-life songs and references. 

I am very excited. I know I would love and prefer Alex (Alexandrea Raeli) to play Lora. For the rest of the characters, I haven't got a clue. Tania and I will be holding auditions for the people that would like to participate, which I'm hoping there are. I do not know any guys that like acting or can act, but I've set the series to contain only 2 guys. I can obviously play 1 of them, but I still need a filler for the other. The role is genuinely simple, in hopes that no matter who I pick, it'll be okay.
